[Photography] How to make explosion effect on Adobe Photoshop (Dark Background)

In this tutorial, you will need these files (Garren photo is optional)
(optional)
Materials: [MediaFire]

Okay, if you have downloaded those files, now we can start. But the first thing first, before you try this tutorial, you MUST open your Adobe Photoshop Software :v

1. Open all needed files on Photoshop.
2. Copy and paste the "Dirt Charge" picture into your workspace
3. Duplicate the "Dirt Charge" layer.
4. Move Dirt Charge layer 1 into the left side of the figure, and vice-versa for the layer 1 copy.

5. After moving those dirt charges layers, click on one of the dirt charge layer (layer 1 copy). Then click Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur, fill the Radius into 9.0 pixels.
6. After that, click on the un-blurred dirt charge layer (layer 1), then press "CTRL+F" on your keyboard.

After we finished to blur those dirt charges, we need to make that those dirt charges into a realistic explosion.
7. Open the sandstorm file then paste it into your workspace.
8. Change the blending option from "normal" into "Color dodge"

9. After that, change the position of the sandstorm layer or Layer 2 (reddish one) to the one of the dirt charges by pressing "CTRL+T" or free transform tool. Change the position of the reddish one until it looks like an explosion effect.

10. Duplicate the sandstorm layer (layer 2) and repeat step 9

So, this is the result.
